Mike made our res some time ago thought I had put my name in for the list but didn't so please add Paul & Wanda. We just got back from Cabo and need more warm weather will fill out forms and mail check this week. Quick question...one driver per car or can Wanda take a few laps she says she is a better driver than me (no comment). If so does this constitute another fee??? Thanks for everything see ya in Fla.

Thanks for the great response we have been getting.
Why is there a Red Leading the pack? And the Grey one...could it be Blue or Green?
My order is in the mail....

Yours was checked. A couple others have left the banquet RSVP blank. Watch for PMs. I have had a few things to verify.

We are up to 42 paid for the track. Thanks to all that have been so prompt.

I would like to remind everyone that t-shirts and other items need to be paid as I order and receive them. The track needs a check BEFORE we go to the track.
I do not plan on ordering any extra shirts. The only money I wish to handle during the rally is a check to the track and lunch money for me and Marianne. I would hope that all of you understand and respect the deadline I have set up.

If there is some sort of personal issue please PM me so we can work things out ahead of time.

Thanks

Mike

I am breathing a sigh of relief. As some of you know I had the Speedway look over the design for the shirt and at first they did not approve of some of the artwork. Well, after a lot of back and forth emails and a couple changes, the artwork has been approved for our use. The design changes turned out to be minimal and did not affect the overall design, thankfully.

Now I can proceed with what some of you have been asking for. I have worked with the t-shirt people and we came up with a slightly different design that I can get printed up for those not driving the track. I felt the "I drove Daytona" front logo should be for only those that drive the track.

I'm setting up another thread for those that just want the rally t-shirt.

What about those of us who paid for an additional "spouses" shirt with the package, what shirt will we get?

If you ordered the Track package you will be getting the original "I Drove Daytona" shirt. I would assume you plan on keeping your spouse in the SSR with you as you ride the laps. Although they wont be in the drivers seat they will still be driving the laps.

Lee and others -I am listing the total numbers in the main thread.

The most updated name list is in post #2 of this thread - (FYI -there is a small time lag in the posting).

Please check and see if all of the information is correct and PM your corrections to "Dingbat"

Thanks,

The official list of those attending and paid is in POST #2(not page 2). I update that one daily after the mail comes in.

REMEMBER: February is a short month, even with the extra day this year, so don't wait until the last minute. I don't want anyone to miss out on the track experience. PMs were sent out to those I have not heard from yet. For those that already paid, I thank you.

I think your options will be to flip a coin or steal another SSR from somewhere. Can you switch seats at 50MPH?

Maby 20 years ago, might let her shift a gear or two. Thanks we are looking forward to the trip. We may come down early and try to hook up with some of the Florida folks.
