Looking to retire here next year if I'm lucky. Currently on leave looking at a few different houses in the Jacksonville area. I use to be a member of the San Diego Club while I was out there. Met some pretty awesome people there and I'm looking to meet the awsome SSR owners here in Florida.
We have two SSR's here in North Port in Lazy River Village. We could have our own event. Contact me if interested in during some local dining, etc. etc. and the other one is also

Still very new to the forum, been here for a couple of weeks and learning along the way. Thanks for having a great place to visit, looking forward to meeting new friends in March at the Rally.
I finally am officially a fanatics member, after attending multiple events and meeting many members at the pier, silver springs and fantasy of flight. This is my first thread response. I hope I did it correctly? I am a retired AF pilot with a blur SSR and living in The Villages. There are about 6-8 that I see around The Villages but only know of a few aware of the fanatics. Happy new year! Hope to participate in more events this next year. Barney "Phantom2flyer"
Welcome aboard Phantom. What a cool aircraft to fly. Have you signed up for the Keys run in November. I would enjoy meeting you and hear some fun flying stories.
I almost was in the 707th MAC in CHS but the eyes were off by half of a diopter. Presently am a medically retired captain from US Airways. You would enjoy reading my book.
