OK Its time to let you all know what I was up to.
Prior to the Daytona run I was PM'd by SoonerRed (Doug) about something going on. In the message he mentioned how it would be nice if Florida got its own heading under the Regional discussion forums. I had thought about this in the past and decided to go to work. I PM'd Marc and asked and he tried his best to get with Troy to see if it could be done. Troy has been busy lately and a little tough to pin down.
Then an issue with SPAM came up and I was contacted by brentil with that. Brentil is one of our administrators on Troys payroll. I asked him about making Florida separate like Texas in the forums. He said "Show me the numbers" and he would do what he could. Well thanks to all of you we did show him the numbers!!!
We now have a separate heading in the regional discussion for FLORIDA.
I went back and gave brentil a list of recent threads to move. That has been done. If there are some I missed whoever started the thread should be able to move it or Marc, Buffy or brentil will be able to move them if necessary.
So I would like to thank SoonerRed for lighting the fire, brentil for getting this done, Marc for putting up with me, and ALL of the Florida Fanatics that responded to this thread for showing how strong our numbers are.

This thread has done a lot more than my original purpose. A lot of the regulars chimed in and help bring up the numbers. We also brought a few occasional posters out of the woodwork. And I saw a couple of total virgin posters that lost it on this thread. Welcome to all the newcomers.
I will say that as a group this bunch likes to have fun and if you haven't joined in on some of the events get out and join us. You won't be sorry.
Hopefully now that we have our own section it will be much easier for members to find out what is going on in this state and our gatherings will continue to grow.
