Florida Treasure Coast Luncheon
Now that our SSR "snowbirds" are arriving in sunny Florida, who would be interested in a lunch get together on the Treasure Coast sometime in January. If you are interested, I will look into some places like Shrimpers in Stuart or Conchy Joe's in Jensen Beach. We would like to do this while Gina is in town, if she would grace us with her presence. Let me know. . . . .
So far these are the people who are interested in coming for lunch. Let me know how many of you are interested in the tech side of the day. Also let the Dicktator know what you want done. He has started another post "Florida Coast Luncheon/Tech Day
Looks like we are going to Shucker's over by the beach. It is a nice ride from Rusty & Jolie's across the bridge in Jensen Beach. They will fit as many as they can outside beachside, others will be indoors.

Say Pete, how about something halfway, like Manney's in Lake Wales? Just my 2 cents!

Hey SSRMother... when is grandma coming?
Don't know yet. She is waiting until after the 9th to make a decision.
Count me in, and I'll try to convince the wifey too.
If we do a tech day, what will be available for installation? Dicktator??
I volunteer my assistance but don't really know a good place to do it.
Pete,
You might want to try the Dolphinbar in Stuart, it's on indian river drive overlooking the river.
Full service bar, good food, fairly reasonable pricing, nice view and I'm sure they can handle our crew.
My coworkers and I have had a couple of company lunches there.
Link below.
Nice big parking lot . nice ride , if the weather is nice we can all sit out side and eat beach side the food is good to !!!!
Full bar inside & outside

The date
Ok yunz guys
We have chosen a tentative date of Janurary 28th. We now need to work on a restaurant. As you see above we have several to chose from. Dicktator what would you need for a tech day as far as area and tools?

Your date is great! What do I need, not much, have tools, have ramps. Could use air compressor, vise, bench grinder would be nice but only if we change trans Shift Cable Kits. But it also depends on what we do.
Like to have enough area to work two cars at once.

Dicktator
I have all that at my house but can only fit about five trucks in the driveway(no parking on the grass leaves ruts). I guess we could park on the street.
What do you think? Oh, working on the kitchen don't think that sould hurt.

What's the time line for this? Will we be doing the tech day before lunch after or both?
What kind of goodies are you bringing Dick? Yes I'll have the Captin and Coke for anyone who wants.

Normal stuff, I would say, Radiator Support, Frame Stiffener, S/S Tips, Moleskin, Blinking Brake light, Cable Repair Kits (Trans Shop in Palm City, Fl ordered 20), Muth Mirrors, soundproofing, Ignition Switch and more.

Sounds like you might want to get a list going for who wants what.
Put me down for the blinking light and seat belt pads if you have them.

Frieda and I might be able to make it to the Lunch gathering on the 28th.
I won't have a computer there, so I'll get in touch with Dicktator by phone when we are in Madeira Beach, FL.
Won't need the tech session unless Dicktator can turn our HHR into a SSR.
