Kennedy Space Center has an open house coming up, takes a can of food, per person, for the food drive to get in. (and Fla drivers license) Spectacular views of 2 Shuttles on their launch pad, wont ever be repeated. Bring your camera and enjoy a remarkable time and place to visit. IMAX theater is a must. Huge display of Rockets at the "Rocket Garden". Have your picture taken with an Astronaut..

. Good food at the restaurants and great shopping for all kinds of hats, shirts, jackets, nick-knacks etc..etc...

Thanks for the info. We will try to go on Friday to avoid the crowds. believe it or not my wife is a native Floridan and never been.

No worries about crowds anyday.

Tourists are gone, The kids are back in school, snowbirds haven't arrived. Its for us locals, bring a bag with a couple cans of food for a food drive and follow the signs. The place is huge and a lot of things to see and do. Wear comfy shoes and have fun!

Also....weather is forcast at 68am to 82pm...bring a jacket, its windy and on the ocean. Or Buy a jacket there.
