AUCTION RULES ARE:

Only SERIOUS interested Bidders should send a PM to Alex, Largossr05 with your bid. PM sent time will determine 1st bidder should like bids be received.
Alex, Largossr05, will post daily between 5-6 PM EST the Highest Bid for each item received by him through 5 PM that day from PMs received through Thursday August 5, 2010.

The "High on-line Bidder" at the close of final bidding on Thursday August 5th will be notified by PM between 5-6 PM EST that day that they are the high bidder. Being the High On Line Bidder then places them in the live auction at the SSR Truck show on Saturday August 7th.

• Opening bid at the Show will be the HIGH ON-LINE BID PER ITEM

• A call will be placed to the Phone # provided by On-Line Bidder, at approximately 2PM EST (estimated start of auction), Saturday August 7th.

This affords the On-Line Bidder the opportunity to increase their bid if a higher bid is presented at the auction Final and absolute authority is given by your participation in the auction to "Dicktator" to determine the winning bid for each item and to referee any items of concern or rules not covered.

These rules are fair to all.
Thank you for playing by the rules!

Alex --- Largossr05

NO ONE in the SSR Fanatic U.S. wants an SSR Quilt handmade!!

Hard to believe, we wanted to share this with ALL SSR Fanatics, but keeping it in Florida is OK, too.

I posted the information about the Quilt last evening under a new thread titled "Pier Show Auction Results'. because we did have other Fanatics bidding.

Here is the text from that post.

Pier Show Auction Results

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THANK YOU!

Thought you would like to hear how the Pier Show/Charity Auction in St. Petersburg turned out today.

The beautiful quilit had a on-line starting bid of $100.00. Our on-line bidder was called and he (Yellow Tub) and TopJimmy's wife Amy who was at the Pier show went back and forth until Amy's bid reached $300.00 at which point the quilt was sold.

The two Tampa Bay Rays baseballs one signed by Evan Longoria and the second by Carl Crawford also had bids at the Pier which exceeded the on-line bid participants high bids. The Evan Longoria baseball was auctioned off for $170.00 and the Carl Crawford ball was auctioned off for $130.00. Congratulations to both Dicktator and GASSR who were the high bidders on the baseballs.

Thank you ALL for your participation with our charity auction.
