I posted the information about the Quilt last evening under a new thread titled "Pier Show Auction Results'. because we did have other Fanatics bidding.
Thought you would like to hear how the Pier Show/Charity Auction in St. Petersburg turned out today.
The beautiful quilit had a on-line starting bid of $100.00. Our on-line bidder was called and he (Yellow Tub) and TopJimmy's wife Amy who was at the Pier show went back and forth until Amy's bid reached $300.00 at which point the quilt was sold.
The two Tampa Bay Rays baseballs one signed by Evan Longoria and the second by Carl Crawford also had bids at the Pier which exceeded the on-line bid participants high bids. The Evan Longoria baseball was auctioned off for $170.00 and the Carl Crawford ball was auctioned off for $130.00. Congratulations to both Dicktator and GASSR who were the high bidders on the baseballs.
Thank you ALL for your participation with our charity auction.
