Wow Dicktator! I am sorry to hear the news but as everyone mentioned, you have the right kind of attitude. You were also smart to keep getting checked before it became even more dangerous. We love you and want to keep you around! Take care! xoxo
Plays with fire....
Glad that they got it all el Presidente. That has to be a serious relief.
As for the bucket, we need to look into getting it chromed to match all the other shiny bits in your truck. Seriously, you don't want to look out of place or strange while driving with that thing on your head.
Hope to see you in Palm Coast this weekend.
I'm not too quick......but my truck is
Awful sorry to hear about your bout with Melanoma, but glad that your prognosis and attitude are both good. We've been dealing with several rounds of the same for the last 4 years. Welcome to the club of long sleeve shirts, wide brim hats and 50-100 "proof" suncreen. You'll need to get some fuzzy hair for that bucket hat though so that we can recognize you.

[QUOTE=Bondo Princess;1145216]Dick..........Only YOU, can take this negative news and turn it into something funny.............love your great sense of humor! You need to add some SSR decor to your new driving helmet. Take care!
It could not have been stated better. We just saw Dick at Chucks. He mentioned nothing about having a problem and his nose looked pretty good. I wish we could all have his attitude.

Hey Dictator - sorry, missed this thread entirely and want to wish you well.
Great that your sense of humor isn't lost and suppose I could add some bucket list or fur loss jokes but just want you to know I add my name to the list of those that want you to get well - you are a very important part of SSRFanatic but mostly known as a very good person.

Ah, I'm Just Truckin' With Ya!
Dick sorry to hear of your health problems. With my white skin surprised that it hasn't happened to me..thought Wanda and I would see you in MV but got to go to our nephews graduation...poooooo If you go have a great time ..hope to see ya in Fla somewhere. By the way is it hot in your new hat?? would be a great hat for the hail storms we get up here in Tenn.
Sorry to hear you had to go through this. I was just diagnosed with Bronchiostasis, no fun! Getting older is good, but it comes with some baggage. The alternative to getting older is worse though. So, you keep moving forward. We just bought a place in a retirement community in Fort Pierce/Port St Lucie area. My wife is down there now, I haven't seen it yet (how's that for trust!). How far are you from there? Hope to see you soon. Regards, John

I have been holding back from commenting on this, but I can't do it any longer.....
You mentioned a skin graft and not where they were gonna take it from..... Ooohhhhh...... So much good humor to work with there. Have you talked to the doctors about reconstructive work yet? Take in a picture of your wife's favorite celebrity nose and see if they can use some skin from a part of your body that would look "right".....
On a serious note....... Debbie and I have had you in our prayers. We're not going to let up now.
