MPD Hood Install/Pictures

WOW, I was at Lonnie's today, Sinsiter Kustoms to watch Howard, BadBlackSSR have is MPD Scoop Hood installed.

AWESOME!

The scoop is a working scoop, takes fresh air to the front air intake.

Nice fit and just looks great!!

Howard is sending back his OEM hood, I guess Eric has an exchange, not sure.

Pictures
1. REAL Scoop, looks great.
2. Where the air comes out into the air intake. Got to make the R run better.
3. Howard had OEM hinges Chromed.
4. Install done, not waxed yet.
5. Call Lonnie if you want more information. 813-625-4457 (Number on Sign is old #)

Love it!!!!

Your truck is looking better than ever Howard! We can't make it down this year, so I'll have to wait awhile before seeing it up close. Take care friend....

It is a very nice hood. Had mine on now for over 5 years. To make it totally functional use the later model aircleaner and the put a piece of foam at the bottom side of air cleaner . That seals it to the hood. 100% of the air intake comes thru the scoop.

Is the "later model air cleaner" from the '05-'06? On your engine cover...I see metal bars in the striped depressions...where did you get the metal pieces?
Thank you for your help,
Mick

Hi Howard,

Saw you last week at Harden and Polk Co. expressway. You were towing a trailer coming off the toll road.

Can't wait to see the new air scoop, it really looks nice. I like the way it blends. There are some which I don't like because they seem either too big or draw too much attention. The photos of yours makes it look cool and like it was designed for the job intended, not something just slapped on.

Hope to see you soon,
FloRidah
