Muth Mirrors

Alex & Dicktator and Ed installed the MUTH mirrors on my "R" yesterday. They are fabulous. A great saftey feature with some modern "Bling".
And Dicktator and Ed installed the soundproofing in the compartment for the top. What a difference that makes! Dick, on my way home the sound meter you gave me registered "significant" as the sound reduction. When I get the sides done I am sure it will top out in the "tremendous" section".
Both of these modifications are a must if you drive your "R" a lot.

We've been installing Muth mirrors on SSRs for almost 5 years now. I think that I've sold about 150 sets and I know that Dick has done a bunch too. I've never heard anything but positive feedback. They really fill that blind spot with a signal that you are changing lanes. There is also a variation of the wiring install that you can do and have them both vcome on when you touch the brakes. You just have to attach the mirrors to the alternate wires on the flasher unit.

Bill, I don't remember any "Sound thingy" I gave you. But I do know it helps cut down on outside noise.
We did roof compartment vents and soundproofing of doors and roof compartment.

I don't normally hook up the brake lights to the Muth Mirrors. Can't on the 03/04, circuit will blow fuse. Ask Tony, in Texas he had the brake lights hooked to Muth Mirrors on his 04 and blew 3,278 fuses. OK, maybe not quite that many.

I don't hook up the brake lights here in Florida, to many OLD people, like myself, we get confused when we see so many lights come on. Hell, we can't even count ballots.

I will be waiting to see your new paint scheme, when it gets back from Mr. Sinister. Sound interesting.
