Newbie/Quaker/Thursday

Hi Gang, I know everyone is busy with Christmas Holiday but we have a visitor from the FAR NORTH, Western PA., although it has been feeling like the FAR NORTH here.

Sam Jones, SamualJones, Yellow SSR, will be at Quaker Steak and Lube, 10400 49th Street N, Clearwater this Thursday,Dec 23rd. at 5pm. He is going to STOP this time.

The Quaker regular Car/Truck Show starts at 5pm, (you do not have to be there at 5pm we will be there until 8pm)

We will meet, tell stories, look over Sam's SSR, Fresh out of Lonnie's (Mr. Sinister's Garage) with considerable modifications, have Dinner and Wish everyone a Happy Holiday.

If you can get the time to come to Quaker, Please do, we can Show Sam and his Wife some SSR Florida Chapter Hospitality.

Dicktator

Cool!!! Quite sure I will be able to make it. Lonnie did some great work for me as well (lowered my rear and tucked my running boards). Great shop and he and Lauren are even better people.

That's the place where my wife and I first met the "Dicktator" & Kathy, Alex, Jeffanatic, Lonnie & Lauren and many others of the Florida Fanatics.
Great fun place and a great fun bunch of SSR Fanatics, too!!

Oh I get it. You get a Steak while YOU get Lubed, not your car. Forgive me but I live in a rural area so some of these Cosmopolitan nuances are lost on me.

Quaker Steak & Lube is a chain of restaurants that are, I guess, on the East Coast.

We like their Baby Back Ribs and you can get Looped, as they say.

They usually have 70 to 120 Cars/Trucks there each week. They have Trophies, 50/50 drawing, etc. It is run for a Charity that helps the poor.

I think the most SSR at one time on a Thursday night was 12, which is really good.

And when the Snow Birds come down, we try to get them to Quaker.

Sandy, if the first thing you see when you go outdoors are trees, then we are just going to miss some of these subtleties, it the price of living in a beautiful place.

Dick, we had one open in Grand Rapids this month too! I still like the one in Florida better.

Too bad the "affair" is so far away! I'd love to see Lonnie's latest.

Maybe pictures will do justice to the "Lube"

Maybe some pictures might best explain...::: Quaker Steak & Lube ::: Oh yeah...most of the pictures are from Bike Night which is on Wednesdays.
