Well, Bruce and Annie Clark did a "Bang Up" job with their first Oktoberfest. I did not count how many came but everyone had a wonderful time.

Food, Drink, Dance, laughs and good friendship, what more can one ask.

Thanks so much Bruce and Annie for a wonderful Oktoberfest Party. The food was great, the company terrific, and the fun was, well I`m still laughing when I think about the lady`s chicken dance and the men`s Macarena. We can`t wait till next year ( I`ll start practicing to dance tomorrow).

The following day we and Jeff & Tina (Jeffanatic) went to WeekiWachee Springs (a State Park) and watched the "Underwater Mermaids Show". It was a great show and the park is very nice.

It was so nice to meet you both but time was short for conversation and everyone was having such a good time eating and of course doing the chicken dance

If you would please, can you once more tell us all about the fine gift you presented Bruce and Annie. There was so much conversation going on it was hard to hear the whole story, (OK I am a little hard of hearing).

We hope you enjoyed yourselve's with our group of SSR owners and neighbors/friends of Bruce and Annie and perhaps you'll return again.

About the miner's lamp.
This lamp and three other was found in a closed down area of the mine 2006.
The man who found them was a blacksmith who worked in the mine. He is now retired.
He restored the lamps and when the mine celebrated it's 150'th aniversary 2007 one was given to the MD of the mine, and one was given to the King (Karl XVI Gustaf) of Sweden who visited the mine at the aniversary.
This type of lamp was in use in the mine until the 1920's. Then they was replaced with electrical lamps, so the lamp must be from the time before 1920.
The mine is located between Stockholm and Gothenburg, and I work there as a manager for the maintenance department.
The name of the mine is Zinkgruvan Mining AB. We mine zink, lead,silver and copper.

Eva-Karin and I hope to come back to U.S. some day.
If anyone of you fanatics plan to visit Sweden you must let us know, and come for a visit.
