Just a little over two weeks until Oktoberfest. Lennart and Eva-Karin from Sweden will be our special guests. Looking forward to seeing everybody. If you are thinking about coming don't be bashful as we have already bought way more food than we need and the bier never goes to waste.

Annie and I invite our fellow SSR fanatics to join us for Oktoberfest.
This party will take place on Saturday October 16th at 5:00 PM at our home in Brooksville. There will be plenty of food, beer, and fun for all. Heir Bruce will provide plenty of authentic German music for the evening. Frau Annie will be in charge of food and party games. I can't divulge too much but I understand there will be a chicken dance contest for the ladies and a log throw contest for the men.
Planned fare for the evening is:

Kielbasa
Knackwurst
Pork Loin
Potato salad
Red cabbage
Sauerkraut
Apple Strudel
Costumes are certainly welcome as they just add to the festive spirit. However, we want everyone to come so just wear whatever makes you happy. See pictures below from our Oktoberfest held in Las Vegas in 2008.
