Old Town Kissimmee December 02
Anyone that has been to Old Town know it is one of the few places that has no admission charge, has lots to do or just hang out with the cars. Sky Coaster. Go carts, childrens rides, 18 rides,8 restaurants, and many shops etc, every Saturday night there is a cruise of at least 300 cars, it is restricted to cars over 25 years old, we take our 59 Impala, but unfortunately despite being unique SSR's are not allowed to participate or take part in the cruise on the brick streets.
However on December 02 there is going to be a Truck'n for Toys for trucks only, 10AM to 6PM any year truck, rust buckets excluded ! Normally no registration fee but for this Charity event admission is a new unwrapped toy.
Other stuff, Casa Chili cook off, snow showers, Truck cruise at 4PM, participants of this receive a free photo with Santa Clause ! ( between 1 to 3 PM )
That place is a blast...I like the Coke Cola in the little bottle and I always buy stuff from the Elvis store. Due to Church functions that day I wont be able to get there before 3:30pm but I will sure try.

Looks like we have four or five SSR going on Sunday, do we want to meet up before hand ? I cannot get there until after midday.
May be easier to arrive and meet up inside Old Town, whoever arrives first can get a good spot, to the right of the stage I think is best and then save spaces for SSR arriving later, what do you think ?
Remember usually no entrance fee but as this is supporting a Charity just bring a new unwrapped toy.

I WILL BE IN THE VICINITY OF THE BURGER KING AT THE GENERAL ENTRANCE TO THE PARKING SITE AT 10 AM FOR ALL THOSE EARLY RISERS.....HABIT- CANNOT BE LATE STARTER FOR ANYTHING.....ALL WHO CAN JOIN AT THAT TIME GREAT-OTHERWISE LETS GET A GOOD COUNT AND WE WILL TRY TO SAVE SPOTS.....COULD BE DIFFICULT DEPENDING ON WHO THEY PUT IN CHARGE OF PARKING..... Id love to go myself but don't think my truck will be done by then, and Lonnie is making it a COOL ride for me, with flames like Diva, and 59 tail lights.

Attention Cocoa area Fanatics...A short cut to Old town is - Go west on Hwy 520 and turn South at Hwy 532, Nova Rd., travel awhile to westbound 532. This will take you to Hwy 192 just east of St. Cloud. Continue West to Kissimmee. 5770 W. Hwy 192 is Old town. BTY This shortcut is a rural road with very little traffic and watch your speed (I do 85) as there are Deer and the occasional Alligator. Take about 45 mins off the trip. (instead of going I-95 to Melbourne and then west.) Google maps has the info.

The cruise through Old Town is at 4pm, you can drive on the cruise and leave straight after if you want to, ther is other stuff going on after, but you can leave any time you want.
75 shops and 8 restaurants so lots of potential shopping for Kathy !
Chuck, We will meet you at the Burger King. Hopefully about 10am.

GREAT-I PLAN TO SHOW UP A LITTLE EARLY AND CHECK THE PARKING SITUATION-WILL BE PREPARED WITH SOME KIND OF ORANGE TAPE TO SEE IF I CAN OUTLINE SOME SPOTS FOR US....MAY RESULT IN BODILY INJURY-BUT I WILL TRY...CHUCKSTR

we also like going to oldtown it's a neat place but we won't be able to make that date. Kids are coming in from Penna.
