Question Orlando Cruise

It has been suggested by "Beach Potato" that we get together in Orlando. Great Idea, but when and where?

Ok, what would we do? Where would we meet? I have contacts that would help w/hotel. Disney is free, it was said, I am not sure what Beach Potato means by free. But there is a lot of sights to see.

Need some input from the Florida SSR's.

I don't think we can or should do anything until after the First of the Year.

I would glad to help put it together.

Hes right down town Disney is free, it a bunch of shops stores, game house, and lots of places to eat at. Oh theres a big mall too. You could kill a whole day there and one credit card too.

I love it up there but me being just a big kid I would, besides who says being older means you can't have fun.

Do they card OLD BALD MEN in Disney? If they do, Mike, you and I have a problem.
I hope they take Sam's Club, I used up all the other cards.

When do think would be a good time to get together, Mike?? Not to just shop either.

I think you are talking about downtown Orlando. Disney gives
nothing for free. I am in if and when it happens.

If we're going on rollercoasters I'm in... I'm not sure about Robert, he thinks I drive like a rollercoaster (but he doesn't say wheeeeeeee!). Let's go ya'll, it's a good central location for the Florida Fanatics to meet.

What an Idea!! Shave Paul's head!! I think we will need Capt' Al to help us hold him down. Al can use Dry Wall screws to hold him to the floor.

Same for us, open to most things, be great to have something happen here. We live in Kissimmee so central for most ideas.
The cruise at Old Town has year limitations, Saturday night is best but cars have to be at least 25 years old, Friday night the cut off is somewhere in the eighties so SSR do not qualify unless has at least 4 modifications from stock. Can at times get a lot of imports with wheels spoilers and a stereo so we prefer Saturday night, great atmosphere, but parking is limited, which is why we cruise in our 59 Impala

How about Don Garlits museum or Fantasy of flight ? which has a restaurant, lots more local stuff, Airboat rides ? We are happy to help organise and whatever to help make it happen

ouuu! I like your Fantasy of flight idea.

I think that may be doable. I have considered the Old Town, several times, but everyone I talk with says it's for old cars only. How about OLD people, then I would qualify.

I will put a feeler out this weekend. We are, hopefully, having about nine SSR's at the St Pete Pier Car Show Sat. morning.

I will bring it up. It sound good to me.

It would be interesting to see what you would look like with a bald head. Not everyone can wear SKIN like Pasta Mike and myself.

I`ve been threatened with divorce if my hair falls out. I told Sandee, if it did, I`d let the beard grow and do a combover

Well I don't want to mess with Sandee either, so larry has to be king of bald
But Paul if you lose your hair and not your chin wiskers, isn't that called a comb upper not over

Going bald for me was easy. Ever since I saw the king n I movie. Id say eat lots of pasta but Iam proof that doesn't work.

It is an Air Plane Musium off route 4 west of Orlando. Try Google, should bring up their web site.
