Dick: Just wanted to say thanks again for a great weekend! Everything ran like clockwork at the show from the time we left the hotel lot to driving out at the end of the show. I know a lot of work went into organizing our share of the event. I think the SSR's made a statement at the show. Also thanks a bunch to Annie for organizing the ride through the forest and a great suggestion on the restaurant. Not sure how she pulled it off getting all of us seated so quickly. Thanks Annie. Lastly, Great meeting all of you at the show. Diana and I are looking forward to Daytona.
1. Getting on the Glass Bottom Boat Ride. Jan, Jeff, Amy, Tina and Jim
2. Jim Jones showing everone that Floridan's are not afraid of "Gators".
3. After the Show at the Day's Inn getting ready to leave for Dinner
4. Dicktator's Birthday Party, I got a "Cup Cake" with a singing candle.
When I blew out the Candle, I was asked "What did you wish for"? I said "Another Birthday". Before you ask, 73.
5. Dicktator with a new hair style.

I had a great time at the Silver Springs show. I got to meet some new friends and say Hi again to some I met in Maggie Valley. One of the best things was one of the last. The meal at the Bass Masters resturant WaySouth6speed brought us to on the way home MMM MMM Good :o)

I would like to know if everyone that attended would like to do it again next year.
I know we can make it even better and I would like to increase the number from the 23 we had, to 50.
They only had 637 GM cars there this year, they had 850 last year and last year only one SSR, mine.
Thanks Dick

You are Welcome, Poppa!
We were able to get Poppa in using Roger Lewis's Registration. Roger/Jo Ann Lewis (Sharptoys) could not make it. I understand that Jo Ann's Dad is ill, on behalf of All the Florida Chapter, we wish him well.
You are good addition to the Gang, New Englands loss. Remember we do this ALL year around, reason, NO SNOW!

Absolutely el Presidente. I think we can make this one an annual for sure. You did a great job of getting us in, organized and of course on time.... Lots of things to do in the park, plus all of the outstanding vehicles. If we get 50 trucks next year, maybe we can kick the vette's off the front grass!
I also appreciated you going the extra distance with the raffle. Everybody appreciates gifts! [No begging next time 6.0]
We had a great time and a shout out to Annie for the dinner. Spot on girl! Terrific food and a great drive. On the way home too! Chuck _ I hope you found your way home too.
Sorry we won't see you in Daytona el Presidente, but your cabinet will try and do the best in your absence. Hope your foreign trade agreement talks go well with the Canadians....we need their oil!!!
Look forward to seeing everybody else in DAYTONA

I have to say... this was one of our Dicktator's finest efforts. Thanks Dick and Kathy, we love and appreciate all you did to provide a perfect week-end.
It was great to see everyone and meet some wonderful new members of our "fanatic family". Poppa, we are thrilled to have you relocate here. Please tell Charlie that we take good care of you... I think he was worried about your yankee butt bein' down here.
I'll try to post some pic's tomorrow. I have to go catch up on all the sleep I missed this week-end. It took a lot out of me providing so much entertainment.

GREAT WEEKEND!! Dick & Cathy - thanks for all the planning and coordination!! I thought it went off perfectly! The raffle tickets and drawing were a very nice touch!! I thought I was finished with buying more "bling" but after seeing everyone's awesome R's, I'll probably buy more.
Annie - thanks for the great entertainment on Friday night!! Sorry we missed the dinner on Saturday night - sounds like it was a great time!!
Dick - you can sign Puchi and I up for next year and we'll plan better and stay for Saturday night as well.
It was great meeting many new SSR family. Great group of folks!! Unfortunately we will miss the Dream Cruise in Daytona, we'll be in Peru instead. I know, poor planning on our part. We'll think of you as we gaze down on the splendor of Machu Picchu!
Hope to see everyone back in Daytona in March? Thanks again to all for a great weekend!
More Pictures.
1. Returning the contents of Annie"s "R" after her entertainment Friday Night.
(If you leave REALfast out of the Hotel Parking Lot, it is strongly suggested that your Tail Gate be closed real tight)!
If not your friends will have to pick up all your belongings from the Highway, at least those that were not run over.
2. Saturday Morning at GM Show Staging Area before going into the Silver Springs Park. We had 21 "R"s lined up to go in.
3. Other direction
4. Being lined up by the Show People in OUR SSR Parking area.
