Glad to hear that your doing better.
Now Ed, set back and let Maddie do the driving to Flagstaff. (I know ... that alone is almost too stressful)

Just found out about your heart, man i am happy that you came out OK. I am looking forward to seeing you in Flag and if nothing else you can ride with me at & Canyons . Please remember Flagstaff is at 7000 feet and it takes a day or 2 to adjust to that altitude. I'm sure Maddie is doing a great job taking care of you and I know you are doing everything you can to get stronger.

He said I could start driving (already had been) could have a beer or two, and could get the golf clubs out for a limited period of time. This equates to 9 holes and work into 18 over a period of time. Can live with that!!!

He thought I was a jogger (I'm not) and could resume that activity. I'll leave that to someone else.

Soooooo it looks better and better for the Flagstaff trip......thats my goal.
Glad you will be back to normal soon.....

I'd like to thank all my Fanatic family for your concerns, good thoughts, and prayers as I recover from my heart attack. I'm putting it onto the back burner of my memory, and moving onto other things......one being the Rally in Flagstaff. Maddie is even looking forward to it...all 1700 miles one way. Please don't ask her how the trip was......she might just tell you more than you want to know.

Several other items......To Get Busy Living...who has been in Iraq the past year.....we are looking forward to having you home.....party at my house some time in August....Niceville Bill said so.

Smokey....won't be bringing the sticks....Maddie has too much stuff to bring.

Doug...I'll take you up on that Corona, as long as Margo has one too.

Focks....will probably take I20 into Dallas and go 287 to I40. Are you going that way. Looks like 2 days road time for you. One more for me. You want me to come visit you???

And to the rest of you, THANXX VERY MUCH

Ed,
I'll hit you up when I get back about a date for the party. I plan to take a few days to inprocess and catch my breath. Then I'm going to head to San Antonio to see Erin. She started Tech School down there today. I will be back in Florida around the 20th.

Ed glad to see you're doing better.

I had no idea what happened, as I don't usually visit the Florida thread.

Get off that Corona with the fruit and you'd be healthier for it.

Remember "real beer doesn't need fruit in it".

This is our schedule for leaving... and returning.

Talk it over with Maddie, and I will talk with Diane (The Boss). It probably wouldn't hurt you to stop off at our house, in route, and rest a bit before the next run. We will be leaving early on Sunday to get on the road.

Mike....I like your schedule....and your offer. We have driven from FWB to your house, all 735 miles in a day, so falling into your schedule is doable. The Hilton choices would be mine also.....need to use up my points.

Am PMing some other points which might be interesting and make for an easier road experience.

Ed, glad to hear you are back on your feet and moving forward. As y'all go up US 287 from DFW, be sure and honk your horn in my home town - the thriving metropolis of Memphis, Texas!!! I'll be there the 3rd weekend in Sep for a 45 year class reunion. Unfortunately we will not make Flagstaff. Y'all have fun!!!

Hey Ed,

Dont forget you left your hat at our house,... You need to get well soon so you can stop by to pick it up with your supper.... Shipping aint allowed, steak and mashed taters dont look right after delivery and may stain your hat!

Seriously,.. Cori and I hope you are reading this in good health.

Take Care my Friend

Hi Sailor......we'll give Memphis a toot for you when going through. Have fun at that reunion.....my 50th last year was a hoot. Don't miss any of 'em.

Bill & Red,

Hang onto my cap.....I'll be up to pick it up sometime in the future. Didn't make it this year....heart attack was the minor reason, no Giant training camp in Albany was the main one. I think next time its my treat....maybe we can talk stingray838 into joining us. Thanxx for the well wishes. My best to "Red"

Ciao

Ed, been of the forum for a while, making a living! But my GOD! Hey, you are in better shape than me, so any day now I could look to hit the pavement I guess!
Glad the tune up went well. Listen to the Docs, but ya gotta live, Right!
Read this entire thread, and great news.

Tell that OLD buzzard in Clearwater to back off, too. I have no idea what keeps him going. I think his heart stopped years ago, but the Captain keeps the blood thin enough for gravity and convection to carry on!
