HEY ANNE..Joy and I will be at the Gulf View resort..mm 58.5 and since the apt has a full kitchen and charcoal grille outside, I need to know the best place to get provisions..or a Publix as we enter the Keys..I already got the liquor..eh eh. We are staying thru Tuesday afternoon, not sure if we will ever go home... Reservations for Gulf View Waterfront Resort Motel Lodging

The last fairly priced gas is on Key Largo at mm 98.5, it's Sunoco. Fill up there on the way down or pay through your.... nose. Gonna add these and a few others to post #1 for fanatics to copy n paste.

Just couldn't wait - we arrived yesterday. Had breakfast at Hungry Tarpon, fed the tarpons off the dock and spending some time at Long Key State Park today. We saw a Slingshot parked in front of a (furniture?) store on Highway 27 (around Clewiston??) on the way down Saturday, a Redline around Key Largo Saturday afternoon and a Smokin Asphalt near Islamadora this am.
Traffic is heavy today leaving the keys direction (Fantasy Festivalers going home). Saw on the TV about the Corvettes being down for next weekend - expecting 300 or so of them.

It is official.....I will not be making the Keys run ....
Jeff and Terri are taking over my room I must admit I am relieved cause I have a lot back here to worry about......it would have been hard to take a lot of it off my mind while there....I may not have been good company
There will be another Keys run and another time and I'll be able to go then
I want to thank Anne for allowing me the length of time she did to attend and for going out of her way to make it easier on me to try and attend.
