And I am the most computer illiterate person I know... I see the attachment without opening it though, as it's already open on my screen. Maybe HRG will know why and post the answer here. Ya'll are missing some beautiful photographs of the Keys meant to entice and beckon you... and make you wish it was November already.

Aw, come on. It's bad enough that I haven't yet won the Lottery and therefore cannot attend this run. Now you want to torture me with pretty pictures, too!

Come on Vicki, there are months of lotteries ahead of the run. If that doesn't work we have some hammocks available free-for-the-asking and there are cocoanuts layin' around waiting to be eaten. You can swing it, come on down!

Hotel #3, the The Flamingo Inn 1-800)439-1478, has 10 rooms left as of right now. Our run will be held in the off-season, but the area we are staying in is rather remote for the Keys... there are fewer motels, so the longer you wait, the farther away you will have to stay from Conch Key where we will base the run.
Come on down... you know you wanna.

Thank-you Texas Committee!
We will put the donation you made for the Keys Run to good use! What a wonderful generous family we are blessed with... from the vendors, the fanatics and the Texas committee we are surrounded by so many fantastic people.
Now let's see... should we spend it on? A donation to the Keys Historical Preservation Society for letting us use Mallory Square for our car show, prizes for our own raffle or rum?
Thanks again ya'll for a wonderful Rally and an awesome gift for our run.

Thanks Mike... start planning... I told everyone in Texas (where we enjoyed an incredibly well organized rally) that the Keys Run would be a bit different. I'll be there with some rum and will point the way south.
Actually I have a few things planned but nothing really shored up yet. We will definetly do some brainstorming at Silver Springs. In the meantime if anyone has anything they can donate to a raffle please don't hesitate to let me know. I would like to raise a little cash to make a donation to the Historical Preservation Society and defray some of the costs to the participants. I have a few things, but the more the merrier for sure. Everyone likes "free" stuff!
Starting to look into plane tickets this week!! Super excited for the Keys!! Just got done reading this thread I was behind a little But, all caught up and ready for some Margaritas and Kenny Chesney Let the rum carry us away again! Can't wait to see Ms. Anne and Mr. Richard again!!

I just contacted Skip at the Flamingo Inn as it appears that their website is down... I don't think he knows too much about technology.
If you need to make a reservation please just call him at 1-800)439-1478. There are rooms available and I believe they are priced @ $64.00 through $89.00 per night. Any further questions please let me know and I'll try to get an answer...

Ok, so you guys know me, I have to ask....
Are there going to be any t-shirts for this run? I couldn't help noticing the awesome avatar picture advertising this run, and thinking what a great t-shirt it would be. Please let me know!!!
Although we would love to attend this trip, I don't have the vacation days available at work, or the $$ in my budget to make it.
It sounds so fun, I hope it is repeated next year and we will definitely be there!!!
But if there's a t-shirt for this run, point me to the link, so I can order 2
Thanks!

I am hoping that our fearless Dicktator will be helping to get the t-shirts going in the next month and we will be shoring up the rest of the details about the Keys Run soon. Stay tuned to this station for further up-dates....
Sorry that ya'll won't make it down this time. We'll save ya a spot next time for sure.
List is up to date today with over 40 trucks planning to attend... party on!

Me and hubby keep looking at this thread and talking about this run, we really want to go. If I don't take any more vacation days this year, I have enough to swing for the trip. Cordell wants to fly and leave the 'R home like HRG to spend more time on the island, and less time driving.
Leaning way heavier on the go side, but don't sign me up just yet. Budget is the last factor.... but I think I read somewhere that there were free hammocks and coconuts!!!!!

Like I told you my has the max amount of miles I want to put on it this year (Texas ralley was a huge trip) .....It will be hard not to have it with me so I'm renting a convertible to help set if off just a little
Watching e-mails daily for flights now

I was just looking on spirit air, and Cordell and I could fly in on wed 11/4 to Fort Lauderdale/Miami and fly back on 11/9 for 294.00 total!!! thats for both of us, taxes and fees, the whole shebang!
I would spend that much in gas at least, not to mention the miles I don't want to put on my R either.... I've put the max on this year that I want to as well, seeing how I just rolled to 30,000 a few weeks ago.
Now if I can find a good deal on a hotel, and car rental, this trip might be doable
