Don't see many posts from SSR owners in Broward / Dade / Palm Beach. Are there any meets pending in the near future?

There has been some discussion about a BBQ around or after 4th of July

I had talked about seein' if we could do something in July as Dan said... Maybe in Broward as it's a central location for the tri-county area. Since you live in Broward can you suggest somewhere? We could do a bar-b-que or have an informal dinner somewhere and cruise the strip. Of course for dessert, I'd like to go through the tunnel under the New River.

I'm leaving this tuesday for North Florida and won't be on here for a couple of weeks but start makin' some plans. I will look forward to seein' ya'll soon!

It's nice to see more active fanatics in the south Florida area... for a while there were only a couple of us.

Bumped up for the morning crowd. I'm going to start sending some pm's. How does the 2nd week-end of July sound for everyone? Saturday the 12th, afternoon... lateish? It's just too hot in the middle of the day. Or Sunday the 13th? Whadda ya'll say?

Hmm - What? - Hello - I thought yu'll had really good sea food down there?

We should be available that weekend. I would recommend Smokey Bones on 441 and Palmetto in Boca for some good BBQ and they should be able to seat us all in their resturant.
There is ample parking and we could meet there and dine there if that is satisfactory to all.
Let me know and Ill get the particulars and get back to you via this thread.

I'm sure that's a good place, but for the folks down here in South Dade that's about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. I know pandycat and olde phart may come if it's not too far. If we keep it in the Ft. Lauderdale vicinity it would be more centralized. Just my 2 cents... I'll go wherever ya'll decide and look forward to meeting you!

Count us in. Anyplace is fine with us, just let's make it late afternoon like Anne said to avoid heat stroke. Then maybe a ride along the beach topless. It will be great to see the group again.
