Is Del Ackerman an SSR Fanatic?

Saw these pictures in the stories linked below about his grand daughter shooting a thief that tried to take her baby (Del's Great-Grandchild) at the store where she was working ....

How terrible is that! Thankfully the baby was not injured! I didn't quite catch how if he was taking the stroller, and she shot him in the legs??? I would be afraid I would hit the baby. She must have a good eye and a steady hand even under pressure.

Thinking about a SSR club for Naples when I saw this post. I'll track this man down. Anyone in the SW FL interested in spending time with fellow fanatics just let me know.

I counted five SSRs in the Siesta Key area while out and about with family down in your area last week. I would think they're out there.

By the way, there's a fella in Tabernash, CO near you that flips SSRs fairly regularly. He gets his hands on very low mile (usually less than 5000 miles) quality stuff....usually '06s. He recently had a low mile FPR Pac Blue 6 speed listed on Ebay. He seems to have some SSR connections some how. We bought ours from him a couple years ago. I want to say he is an attorney or retired attorney but I'm not sure.

Thanks Jim, See what you can do down South.

Our Florida Chapter weakest area is South of the Sky Way Bridge.

Doing good in North Port, now need to get Naples, Fort Myers together.

We have you and Charles down there.

<---------raises hand. Just got my 2005 yesterday. I have seen VERY few SSR's in this area. I can probably count them on one hand.
