SSR on Tail Fins & Chrome

A very SHORT segment of our SSR Breast Cancer Charity Rally from last July is aired today on Tail Fins and Chrome.

11am on Channel 8 in the Tampa Bay area.

They showed about 5 minutes at most.

Lonnie and Sinister were the feature and Bill Graham, TBBill had another two minutes.

Little disappointing considering there were 50 SSR's there.

The Breast Cancer Charity received about $3100.00 from the Event and that is what we are most proud of.

I hope they actually cover the breast cancer event on another show. I appreciate the exposure but there was a lot more to the event than what they showed.

Thanks Lonnie and you are right, they filmed for several hours.

I went to their Site - Tail Fins and Chrome - the TV show

Episode 21 and we are not even on there.

Alex is going to try and get a DVD from them, even if we have to pay. Want the DVD for those that attended

50SSR's were there.

Lauren said she remembers Jen Persons telling her they used my interview for a filler in a California show so check with her sounds like this wasn't everything.

Thanks Lonnie, I admit I was disappointed that was all we were going to see.

After all the work of so many people did to put the FIRST SSR ONLY PUBLIC SHOW together at the St. Pete Pier. 50 SSR's participated in the SHOW.

All for Charity, ie, Susan Korman, Breast Cancer Walk.

I am PROUD to say that the SSR Fanatics collected and donated over $3100. to Breast Cancer Research.

I hope there's more too. When they filmed at my shop they were here all day, filmed Liza pinstriping DeVillain, interviewed lots of people, etc. but only 2 1/2 minutes ended up on TV. Even if that's it at least we got some SSRs on national/international TV, that's not all bad. And we supported the cancer charity because we wanted to help, not for publicity.

Here's a really bad cell phone video for those that are interested:
