Time for good bye's

Well I'm not going to re-new my member ship this next time around. I have two very good job offers and will take one of them, thank God.

And even though I have made some very cool friends and drove all over the place with Ann and some others, I'm looking for the C6 ZO6 that just wont get out of my blood. I can't afford both and WONT give up my Harley, so the SSR will have to go.

This is one fine group of people that came together like family. I'm glad I have had the chance to meet some very nice folks that I would not have met other wise. The real VALUE of the SSR is not color, wheels, mods, or even a badge.

ITS ALL YOU FINE PEOPLE HERE THAT MAKE THE VALUE OF THE SSR!!

So if one day you see a bald Italian going down the road in a yellow or black,
C6 ZO6 holding his thums up sign it could just very well be me. Just like to say thanks for the fun times, all the miles drove, to fun places and friends.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL, AND GOD BLESS AMERICA......

PASTA MIKE....

PS: DAVE YOU AND KIM ARE WELCOME ANYTIME FOR MAMA'S PASTA.

Unhappy Say What?

I'm sorry to read that you are not going to renew your membership, although I understand why.

If you don't mind, please PM either NauticalDave or me and give us your e-mail address Nautical is seriously considering a ride on his two-wheeled baby down to Key West to celebrate closing out a 26-year chapter of his life, and could end up riding through your locale.

Best wishes in your new job, and have a blast when you find your perfect 'vette!

We'll miss your posts, and I'm sure the Bald Brothers won't be quite the same without you.

Best Wishes,

I guess that means I can't interest you in a

"I WOULD RATHER BE DRIVING MY SSR"

sticker for the window of that new 'vette! and I would not know where you coould put it on the HD.

I have enjoyed your banter with the rest of the family and think you should consider hanging around just for the fun. Whatever happens stop in and visit once in a while.

as CEO of the bald brothers of the SSR, i am not sure we want to release you to the vette crowd. you can still participate in our events. who else would put up with your lap top crashing, smashing or whatever ? who is going to keep track of your sister <(waysouth6spd) and guide her on the path of rightiousness, ( lord knows she needs it) ? anyhow, if that is what you want, we will support you as before, a true SSR fanatic !.

Job?

Dam, I am sorry you got a job!

Go off and buy a Vette and give up your family and most of all, your "BALD BROTHER'S".

Just make sure when you go by, it is "Thumbs Up" and not a finger.

I hope you earn a lot and pay a lot of Social Security, I need the money.

Good Luck!

I said the same thing.....

.... a few weeks ago. I was going to sell my SSR and maybe buy another one later. But, my wife and I have decided to keep ours, even though the next year is going to be very busy and not much driving time is going to happen. Your decisions are yours and yours alone. I wish you luck with your new job and in your search for your Vette, but I'm kinda hoping you change your mind, too.

Sorry to hear you have made your mind up on this one, Pasta Mike, but you have to do what is best for you.

Just remember, Byers can find you a replacement in 6 or 8 months down the road, when you come to your senses.
