Two tech days being planned

Florida Chapter is working on two Tech Days, one in Jan, 2013 and one in Feb, 2013

DATE NOT SET YET!! WATCH FOR DATES.

1. First TECH DAY in JANUARY will be on the WEST COAST of Florida, (First Time on West Coast). To be held near OSPREY, FLORIDA off 75, exit 195. (South of Sarasota)

Phil/Diane Walker, PCW06SSR will be the Host.

Plenty of parking, big garage with a LIFT and lunch.

This is a great opportunity for Ft. Myers, Naples, Bonita Springs area to come to a Tech Day.

With a LIFT we will be able to do RADIATOR SUPPORTS quickly, which everyone should have AND the SHIFT CABLE REPAIR KITS.

Mike's FRAME STIFFENERS, a great addition for handling and eliminating squeaks and rattles.

Also available:

Ignition Switch (can do instructional install)
Muth Mirrors
Soundproofing
Mole Skin
Stainless Air Dams
Bed Struts
Hood Struts (Replace Noodle Bar on 03/04)
Radiator Fan
Blinking Brake Light
Door Decals
LM487 Flasher
Red 92 LED Brake lights
Stainless 5Ē exhaust tips (canít install on Tech Day)
Seat Belt SSR Pads
SSR Valve Caps
SSR Travel Mugs
SSR Stainless Pens
Sheepskin Microfiber Towels
Hood Seal Kits a MUST for those with under hood goodies.
Cluster Faceplate in colors, Yellow, Red, White, etc. (Canít change on Tech Day)
Cluster Needles in colors (Canít change on Tech Day)
Stepper Motors (Canít change on Tech Day)
AND a GM TECH 2 to read your computer for code problems.

The Florida Tech Staff will be on site to TEACH, ASSIST and HELP install your selections.

This is a ďHANDS ONĒ Tech Day, so wear your work clothes.

For the most part, tools will be available, so donít bring your work shop with you. Personal hand tools are recommended. Mostly Metric.

Dick, Count me in for one of them. I want to see if you can find out whats causing my intermitent window problem. Possibly check it with the GM GEN Tech 2 tester. Also by then I might need something else done.
Thanks, Walter

Window problem is probably your driver door handle module/switch. We can check it out.

Dick, Obviously Phil and Diana (pcw06ssr) will be there. As per our conversation Saturday, JANUARY 12, 2013 is the date we have agreed on. We plan on shuttling the wives who wish to Downtown Venice for shopping on the Avenue. As you stated grass parking for a 100 vehicles if needed. We're planning on pulled Pork and pulled Chicken for lunch plus sides. Bring your lawn chairs plenty of shade trees. We can't thank you enough for helping us plan this. We hope for a great turnout and lots of laughs.. Phil

Are you going to put a giant frame stiffener on you motor home?? Or maybe a set of Mike's stainless tips?

A Saturday tech day! I tentatively am planning on attending. I don't have a radiator support yet so this would be the perfect time to do one.

Duf, Put your Name on one!

Yes, I think replacing the PLASTIC radiator support with STEEL is important, both for safety of hitting something on the highway and aligning your front tires for longer tire wear.
