The 03 SSR at Hot rod customs is done. Now loks like a 53.
Check out the pictures. Scott King did all of the metal work on this truck.

I saw it as an almost finished truck when the paint was complete, but the truck still disassembled....about #26 set of photos.... I have to say that these guys did an absolutely awesome job. The attention to detail, even in the parts that don't show, was phenomenal.
My hat is off to the guys at Hotrods & Custom Stuff.... nice work.

Incredible
I want that tailgate too!!!!!!!
For years I have been saying that if Chevrolet would only take their designers and do ONE 1962 or (other year) early Corvette and put a modern power plant and braking system but leave the body alone they could sell thousands.
Ford could do the same with an earily Mustang. Face it both sold thousand and they were affordable so that all working stiffs could afford one.

As someone who built (actually RE-BUILT) two streetrods, 31 Ford Roadster and a 47 Chevy Areo Sedan, I know how much effort goes into piecing a car back together; and these are sheetmetal parts that are supposed to go back together! I can't imagine the challenges of putting sheetmetal parts on a car that aren't supposed to go together.
GREAT JOB on the body work Scott!

Wow Wow Wow! For some reason, I like it much better with the top up. Don't misunderstand though, it's magnificent from any angle anyway you look at it.

Having had the pleasure to see this in person just after the completion, all I can say is the pic DO NOT do it justice!!!! The attention to detail is absolutely awesome.
Scott is truly one of the most talented bodyman I have ever had the pleasure of viewing his work.
When the time is appropriate, there are alot of pics to share and they will be posted by Richard but not before...
