#12 ---3333 is coming home!!
It isn't quite #12 Ray but I am ecstatic as #123333 is exactly what I wanted. I just bought her about 15 minutes ago. She is a '06 FPR 6 speed with 5400 miles on her. Now I can tell Lonnie to get that can of red paint out again and go ahead and paint those buckets. The redflamed Windsuppresser and spoilers etc can all be placed now. I was never going to be completely happy without the 6 speed. Now some gears and a supercharger!!!:

You know Doophus, I was actually looking at a Slingshot out of Florida. Tough to find them in a 6 speed. The Slingshot is the first SSR I saw and always have liked it. Finding a nice low mile 6 speed in any color was a challenge. I was even looking at those damn "fast" Ricochets. I came close to getting a PacBlue out of California and that would have been nice also. The seem to be more rare in this part of the world and that would have been okay. Real happy to have another .although having doesn't make much sense.
And yes, it is a very cool VIN! It seems today was sort of meant to be.
Looks like it was built the day before, or possibly even same day as my silver on black.
Kinda figured you'd be in trouble after the 6 speed demo ride.
Blame it all on Tugboat.
Blame............, I think Cash would want to congratulate me for helping him make the first step towards multiple ownership
The test drive was actually very sedate for how I usually drive. I hate to think what Cash would have wanted to buy if I decided to red line my like I did when I was chasing the Dragn in Langley.
Dale, congratulations on your new I know you will enjoy it.
Congrats, from Las Vegas on your purchase. We have a lot of Slingshot Yellows out here. We have only one in the Vegas Mob, but I think he is going to paint it Yellow so he can fit in with the rest of us. We have one but I think he is going to the salvage yard with it.

Thanks all for sharing. I can't believe how excited I am. More excited than when I bought Kate I. A lot of that has to do with my lack of knowledge of them initially which has increased 500 fold thanks to this Forum and you kind folks. When I bought Kate I was not even aware the manual transmission was an option. This entire truck is very exciting to me but the whole process was started by the absolute must to have a 6 speed. I didn't even think about it until I knew it was out there and then I had to have it to turn the Permagrin into a "Sinister" laugh. Lonnie has been asked to get the Redline paint bucket out again!
As for the Vegas Mob I wish I had the extra "Cash" right now to have been able to drop Kate II off for that Supercharger Special. Oh well. Installing that unit looks like a lot of fun anyway. As I said to Joe the problem would arise if it wouldn't fire up because I would have no idea where to look for what I did wrong. I think I will throw some gears in her over winter so I can keep up with Ray.
So, I think I'll be up all night. What do you guys want to talk about now or should I just go on?
Thanks again for your kind thoughts and good wishes. Special thanks to Ray, Doug and Steve who I relied on rather heavily for their "always available" advice. All good I might add.

Yes, the 6 speed really makes this truck fun. I went from a 2006 Auto to a 2006 6speed, night and day for me. Debating on 456 gears as I am told it really makes a difference. 1st thing I did was the Super 44 Flowmasters and Bosal tips--I never listedn to the radio now because that exhaust is music to my ears--and I love to downshift now more than ever!!!

I know of what you speak!! There is just something MORE about driving when you have a 4, 5 or 6 speed, depending on the era. I have 2 - 4's, a 5 and very soon will have a 6 speed at home. Little rev before you let the clutch out just so they know its not an auto, the down shifting is just not nearly the same. I try to forget I have the brake pedal with the manual.
Speaking of gears. I want to do a change also but will be seeking advice on that between the 4.10's and 4.56's. I think someone said (possibly Doug Allen) that the 4.56's were much better with the Supercharger which may mean the 4.10's may be better with the stock LS2. I think Ray (Flassh) has 4.10's so probably will bug those guys again for their "sound" opinions. I may start a thread on that question for people's opinions who have already been experiencing one or the other. I am going to do that.
I see you have a BMW M. I loved my 633 CSI (5 spd). What a great and great looking car. I still have in mind to get a '88-'89 M6 as I love that body style.
