Tnx!

Thanks Marc and all. I have a question, though. '05 MY, the 1SB package, which includes a satin chrome engine cover insert went into 97.9% of the SSRs built, but the satin chrome insert is also listed separately at 59.4%. Howdatwork?

Great Info !!!

Yes, this is some great info. I was also wondering if anyone here can tell me what the towing package consists of? Do all SSR's have the tow hitch installed, is there a provision for installing a brake controller, ...thanks.

Where can I find the vin spread for 2003,2004,2005???? Marc lists the spread for 2006 but the PDF files for 03-04-05 do NOT list the vin spread (at least I can't see it if it's there)!!

After reviewing the final production numbers for all years produced they only total 24178 Units not 24180 units. The 2003 production figures from GM lists 3416 units and if you add the totals for 2003 it adds up to 3415 units. The same for year 2005 GM lists 7279 Units and and if you add the totals it adds up to 7278 units.

BY THE COLORS -
TOTAL SSR COLOR COMBINATION PRODUCED FROM 2003 TO 2006.

ULTRA VIOLET - 1300
SMOKIN ASPHALT - 5612
REDLINE RED - 6695
SLINGSHOT YELLOW - 5181
RICOCHET SILVER - 2933
AQUA BLUE - 1492
PACIFIC BLUE - 532
SMOKIN ASPHALT OVER RICOCHET SILVER - 238
RICOCHET SILVER OVER SMOKIN ASPHALT - 134
PACIFIC BLUE OVER RICOCHET SILVER - 32
PACIFIC BLUE OVER SMOKIN ASPHALT - 9
AQUA BLUE OVER RICOCHET SILVER - 8
RICOCHET SILVER OVER PACIFIC BLUE - 7
RICOCHET SILVER OVER AQUA BLUE - 5
TOTAL PRODUCTION - 24178

WHAT FANATIC OWNS THE RAREST COLOR COMBINATION OF RICOCHET SILVER OVER AQUA BLUE AS THERE WERE ONLY 5 BUILT.

JUST MY OBSERVATION AND $0.02 WORTH. BORED - DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO DO TODAY.

I meant the silver over aqua - It's possible that the rarest SSR is either an auto or six speed

I don't have that info. Yes, if only one of the 5 is either an automatic or 6 speed that would make it a ONE of A KIND - VERY RARE.

Guys - my wife and I drove a silver over aqua last year.

I had just bought my 06 Redline Red but found the two tone in Ft. Pierce, Florida. The window sticker was 47155 + about 225 in dealer options(cargo netting). He wanted to give me 1500 off, plus the 1000 from GM, or about $45K. It had 14 miles.
This one did not have the cargo trim kit($895), but had the chrome package, chrome wheels, paint package and the 3SS package. The VIN was like 43900 (my RR 06 is 43156) and it was in the last production run with the waterfall badge.

Just couldn't cough up the next 45K!

German website SSR – infos and photos needed

We try to build up a german website about the SSR. Therefore I’ld like to ask the users of ssrfanatic.com to provide me with some information and photos.

We are looking for photos of SSRs in the color combination: 1. Pacific Blue/Smokin Asphalt, 2. Aqua Blur/Ricochet Silver, 3. Ricochet Silver/Aqua Blur.

Furthermore we are interested to know answers for the following questions:

1. When was the first SSR built?
2. I understood that 24.178 SSRs where built. Does that mean that also the cars were built as a PaceCar in NASCAR and Indy 500 are included in that number.
3. Is the total number of 24.178 produced SSRs correct?
4. How many cars were built in each year?

If there are other interesting information available we appriacte to receive some to create a good german website about the SSR.

Thanks a lot for your help.
