Which 5" tips to install?

I've got to choose.

I was planning on installing the 5" bosal I purchased from Mr Yat. Simple Engineering had another tip that I thought looked cool. I was going to wait to install after the Laughlin run (I figured I would see both). Mike sent me his set to compare. After looking at both, I really like the look of Mikes tips because of its angle cut tips which matched the original. BTW, Mike great to work with.

Any comments or options on the two?

I have the Bosals on mine I like them but they are not stainless they are chrome plated they will rust as time goes by also if you need to expand them to fit your pipes be sure to cut the plating with a razor knife so it will crack where you want it to.

I liked Mike's tips better than the bosal once I'd seen them both up close...will think about putting them on after/when installing new exhaust.

...

Give me 1/2 a second to think about it...Mikes o.k. it just took 1/4 second.

ss over chrome.

clean smooth surface over streach marks.

thin lines over baloony body.

But you may see it differently.

Buy the way I ordered two sets of balony tips myself.

I can't aford four of Mikes tips.

I'm not crazy about my 5" bosal. They are a pain to keep from rusting. I should have gone with stainless from the beginning.

I've seen both in Maggie Valley this year and I like my Bosal tips...I just keep a coat of wax on them and they look great...

It's all in your preference. I like the stock tips on my 05 but installed the 5" bosal. They look really cool filling the space left for 5" and they have a really nice rumble.
