Another fan bites the dust.

At 19,800 my 2003 has a dead fan.

Called local dealer to check availability on the fan (I’m under warranty till 2011)

No fan in stock anywhere in Canada.

Alex05SSR to the rescue.

At the Springfield Super Rally, Alex installed a new Mike’s fan kit.
Then Alex gave me his hand-me-down G.M. that was still working.

My dealer is going to install Alex’s fan to get me going tomorrow, and order a new fan to replace it on my shelf.

Thanks again Alex !!! When all spare fans are used up and out of warranty … Hello Mike!

You're so VERY welcome! I was hoping that my original, still operational OEM fan might help bail someone out of trouble. Glad you will be able to use it. Funny thing is, when you got it from me in Springfield last year, I believe that we both felt you most likely would put it to use to help out one of the other Canadian fanatics in a time of need.....instead it turned out being you! Let us know how it works out.

I had to explain how to close the cargo cover to the serviceman, before he bashed the hinges through it.

I usually explain how to close the hood. They usually break the CHEVY piece off. Hey...glad you're back in action.
