It's just an affectionate term for Ricochet silver...

When I first joined the site, way before I bought a truck, one of the first posts I read was someone referring to their truck's color as "Bondo" and later I read someone saying they wanted to order theirs in "Primer". There's also a Shiny Bondo club I think...

It was just history from this site...someone else has the "Bondo Princess". I just put the two together and came up with "Primer'd Bondo". I like the ring of it.

I guess I shouldn't have assumed that everyone here was in on the joke. Sorry to offend anyone!

OK, I'm on the right page now. Let me add Silver Britches #22851 to the small but elite group. / Now the Redneck Riviera is represented. We seem to be able to keep the group south of the Mason/Dixon line...SSR290 / could change that if he jumped in here.

P/P

Peace

Just a side note....

Just to let you know that the correct term is "shiny bondo" which is a spin off from a big goof I made in Laughlin 2 years ago. hdflstf (Art), C1trob (Rob) and Weary Eagle (Gary) are my three official, original "shiny bondo buddies" who crowned me their Bondo Princess a couple of years ago. That's when I received my trophy and tiara pictured in my avatar. Have fun with this term.

Her Highness, Princess Gerry, at work overseeing Fanatic events . . .
1) her official Disneyland outfit with "BONDO" on the back of her Mickey ears (so her security entourage can locate her at all times in this crowded park)
2) "Princess" on the front of her custom Mickey ears, so those, as yet, uninformed can recognize her and then know how to properly approach her. Here Her Highness is honoring Uncle Focks Duck Soup at the Disneyland entrance.
3) Always open to grant an audience with foreign dignitaries (here speaking briefly with Wayne (turnheadz) from Canada while being safely and securely whisked from one exciting ride to another on the monorail).
4) An official declaration granted me, one of her loyal subjects by Her Majesty.

All Hail the Bondo Princess . . .

Gary,
You are too much! It seems that you have some photos to go along with whatever topic is posted. Your comments are so funny and creative. I am proud to call you my "shiny bondo buddy", even though you now own another color.

At least he owns one (even if it is the wrong color). But them again the princess does have a ride and a personal driver.

What can I say, Art, I just wanted to go faster ! ! GO REDLINES ! !
(I suspect this is the motivation for the BLUE BONDOS also as the degree of approaching WARP SPEED is directly proportional to the percentage of color change from silver)

Actually it's inversely proportional. You just think you are going faster when you are actually slowing down.
