Spotted......... Red SSR with Calgary, Alberta plates at the cruise-in at Pavilions in Scottsdale, AZ this Saturday. Had a unique SSR Fanatic emblem in lower left of the tailgate. Hung around the vehicle for awhile but never met the owner.........must be someone on this board?
Lots of precious metal at this event but this was the only SSR situated in a nearby parking area.
the only red one i know of up here is shaun (sprooney)
i know he is down south in az right now too!!
Not sure this is the one as his bio indicates he owns a 2004. This one was a 2006 or at least it hand the lower front fender badges indicating so. Also was an auto and had a rear deck air foil. I took a picture of it and the unique crossed flag emblem (half checkered flag / half Canadian flag) with SSR Fanatic emblem below. Can't post picture until I return home in a week or so.
Yup, that was my SSR there at the Pavilions, also had my 40 Ford Coupe there as well. I did meet two other fellows who have SSR's .. Both were not Fanatics!! But they may soon be. Went to the viewing day at the Barrett Jackson today. Seemed to be the only SSR around there as well. I did see two that were going into the Auction this week. A red one, and a black one. Come to think of it there was another, one with 17 miles, thats right, only 17 miles. the other two were low milers as well. If I go back this week I will get the vin numbers and send them to Cash. On another note, A friend of mine showed up two weeks ago with a 2004 SSR that I didn't even know he had. It is currently listed on Craigs list. Nice low miler with a custom paint that looks great. Perhaps Frankmp might want to jump back in. Price is good.
My SSR: SSR gone but still Redline Red aka TORCH RED!!!!!!

What some posers will do and put on a GM chicket and make it look like a 2005+
The cross flag is not unique. Its just a C6 Vette emblem and a flag overlay added. I forgot where I ordered them from but if you're interested please PM and I can dig up the name. The rectangular fanatic sticker was offered on the forum a few years back..........
Nice to see the R taking in all that sun and heat.....otherwise it would be under a tarp until May!!

Only two show up on the BJ Scottsdale docket. Serial numbers for both are on the info for each truck.
Red one is at 21 miles according to the info. Will be interesting to see the selling price on this one. It's interestingly equipped, with the carpeted trunk and saddlebags, but no running boards. Window sticker still attached.
Gotta love some of the things written about SSRs.
Brand new 2004 Chevrolet Super Sport Roadster with only 21 actual miles. According to Edmunds the SSR combines the styling elements of a late '40s Chevy pickup, the attitude of a muscle car and the fun of a roadster, the SSR is an entertaining answer to a question nobody asked.
