Changed dash faceplate

Finally after owning my R for 2 1/2 years I got the dash faceplate changed from KPH to MPH. Thanks to AC ROB for supplying the faceplate and thanks to Rodger (sharptoys) for recomending someone to do the job. It was done by Doug the SpeedoMan in Daytona Beach, Fl. Yes I had to come to Florida from Pennsylvania to get it done. Doug is a spedometer specialist and did a quick thorough job. He also replaced the stepper motors and back lights while it was apart. He gives a lifetime warranty with his work. His phone # is 386-589-2493.
It will be great to know how fast I'm going, instead of trying to convert KPH to MPH. Walter

I feel your pain, Walter . . .

Being forced to leave the fantastic Scranton weather this time of year and drive all the way to Daytona Beach just to get your speedometer fixed.

By the way . . . what color did you pick?

! ! ! ! ! !

Did you change to a different faceplate color or stayed with the stock color?

At least with that with the kph faceplate if you messed up the conversion you probably wouldn't get a ticket driving in PA
Up here in Canada we have kph but my speedo came in mph. Have to work real hard when the sign says 100kph max to remember NOT to use the 100 on the mph faceplate - can be real expensive if I forget - lol!
