Chipped Paint

Has anyone else had the paint along the edge of the deck lid chip off? I hadn't noticed it until this week, it runs just along the edge about 1/16" wide and 18" long.

yes, I have an 03.
I took it in for an oil change today and talked to the service manager. He said I should call their body shop on Monday.

Paint

I have that too on my '03 . I just figured that it was from one of the previous owners. I hate the chips that happen on the front too, but I do understand that will happen with a daily driver. I just keep using the touch-up paint that i ordered from Chevy.

YEP!!! They said it was a clear coat failure... They repaired it under warranty... Now under the extended warranty...which doesn't cover paint... still having the same problem, just a little further up the cover. My friend who owns a body shop touches it up for me from time to time...

Paint Chipping!!???
