Clear Bra Kit

Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if any of you have installed the Clear Bra kits
on your SSR's? If so does it really work and is it hard to install?
Are there any brands to stay away from?

Thanks

Buck

Thumbs down Imho

They have to be pro installed to even look good and still don't like them. After a few months you start to see a dirt line on the lighter colors where the bra ends...
If your concerned use a reg bra on long hauls and then take if off in towns..
I prefer to go bra less.....

According to my installer (professional) on a scale of one to 10 the SSR hood was a 10 (hardest)

Get a pro to install it. Love mine. The white line is just a buildup of wax/polish. You can remove it with a very soft brush.

Actually I have installed kits on 2 SSRs. I would definately not rate them a 10 on difficulty. But I never recommend installing one yourself. If you mess it up you the kit will be ruined... and it is a difficult process to do it right.

I have tried just about every film out there. I only use ClearMask AR or VentureShield for wrapping hoods, fenders, and so on. Both films hold up well and have a lifetime warranty. ClearMask AR has virtually no orange peel and is a little easier IMHO to maintain.

If you need any more info you can go to ClearMask.com or PM me and I will be more than happy to help you out.

3M was another product that many of used, and I understand they have bought Venture Shield.

Here is a company that sells the product for the SSR. Its called Auto Trim Design.

Where are you located? There are plenty of people on here that can direct you to the right places. Not to mention, when you have issues, knowing where you are allows others to assist. I see you have been a member for over 2 years... if you spend that $25 it opens your membership up to much more opportunity.
