I actually got this done late last year, but I'm just now getting around to posting the information and photos.....I know, I'm getting kind of slow.
In my seemingly endless pursuit of additional "bling", I contacted fanatic TNSSRMAN (Floyd) about making me a set of electroplated chrome bed strips for the cargo area, including the inside of the tailgate.
Well, as I knew he would, Floyd really came through for me. What I wound up with were custom machined strips out of billet aluminum which he then had chromed. I might add that the 2 outside strips in the bed were machined/channeled in the same manner as the factory strips, to slide directly inside the slots of the runners. All of the other strips are held in place with velcro, like the factory strips.
For me, this was the perfect way to complete the "blinging out" of my cargo area.
My SSR: 04 UV, BOD 2-18-04, SN 5550, lots of polished billet, Superchips, K&N - Previous 03 and 05 owner
Alex,
Those strips look fantastic. I'm sure you'll be the hit on the show circuit this year ..... if you clean up all that dirt back there, shame shame ...

Hey Mike, I take the weekly house trash load to the local dump in my daily driver SSR.....that really blows some minds at the dump.
Besides, it's the "off season", and I don't stay on top of it like I do during show season.....the winter is a break for me.
