Designing paint schemes

Designing paint schemes

I was just going thru my laptop and found my sketch for my painted stripe.
Anyone wanting to design a new paint schema can do this. This helps to get the flow and proportions right.
Take a photo of your truck and turn it to black and white. Then dim or fade it to ghost like status. Print a bunch off and then draw what you want on them. This is the time you look for items you need to design around, like door handles and key holes..
Take as many angle shots you need to get the view and look you want.
If you look you might see where I was trying to get the stripe to mirror the angle of the windshield.

That is a good way to work out a paint design.

Hey, is that part of your hood (under side) in your avatar??

Believe it or not ... I use my buddy’s 2004 Honda Rune to give me an idea of how my two tone would look.
