Dual Tips Installed!

I just finished having my "Dual Tips" installed this afternoon and wanted to share these photos with you guys.

I got my first look at the tips at the Maggie Valley Rally when, Charlie " CQQL SSR" showed me a newly purchased pair ( still bubbled wrapped) which were ordered thru " Mr. Yat" on this forum. I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them.

I received these yesterday from "Mr. Yat" after ordering them last week. I went down to the local muffler shop this morning and had hopes that they would fit without any alterations. Once the installer tackled my little project, I could quickly see that they would fit just fine. I had an existing Magnaflow Cat-Back sytem already in place. The large 5" tips had to be removed of course.

Clearance is about 1/2" to 3/4" left to right and about 1 1/8" to 1 1/2" on top.

Here's the linked thread on the partial topic.

For $40.00 plus shipping, you can't beat it!

That was my concern after they were installed. To my surprise, I still had the same rumble and growl... but about 10%-15% less cabin noise.

Wink Beautiful !

Hi Gary:

The installation is a work of art. You have one very nice Midnight Special my friend. Those tires look familiar - Are they Toyo's ?

On another note, I received my MV-Shirts today and they are GREAT, thank you very much !

Thanks Vavoom...

The sound didn't change much at all, being the Magnaflow System was already in place. The cabin noise however was reduced while going highway speeds.

As far as the wax...about 5 coats of Zaino and Maguiers detail spray.

MEANIE!

You temptress, Gary! You post this, knowing we just added a second to the family . . .

The tips look great! Can't wait to see them. Hope you and Monica can join us next Saturday. In both R's. But you know we won't have Betty yet, but still negotiating with Ed and Kris to see if they can make it up this direction Saturday.
