Events Poll - Laughlin 2014

During the 2013 Laughlin Run the committee members present agreed to make some changes for the 2014 Laughlin Run. While the date has not yet been set it is possible that the event may be pushed back a few weeks in hopes of finding clear weather - less rain and wind

It was announced, however, that the 2014 event will be a 5 day event - Wednesday through Sunday. By extending the days it will give folks an opportunity to enjoy additional events and exploring the area on their own. Of course, if you can't make it all 5 days, that's OK...we want to see you for however long you can attend.

In addition to the traditional meet & greet, show & shine, banquet, and farewell breakfast the committee is looking to add scheduled runs and events. This is a poll and will probably not include everything you may be interested in and if you think of something, please respond in this thread.

Below is a sampling of the many possibilities:

dunebuggy

Laughlin Adventure Tours | Hoover Dam Tour

London Bridge Jet Boat Tours - Laughlin Nevada

Laughlin River Tours Dinner Cruises

London Bridge Arizona - London Bridge Lake Havasu - Arizona Attractions

http://www.welcometooatman.com

Bullhead City, Arizona Golf Courses

Keepers of the Wild

It would probably have to be done on a night where nothing else was going on due to time difference. Distance is about 8 miles through Bullhead City from Laughlin.

Oatman Tour

We have been there several times over the years and those pesky Donkeys can cause havoc to parked cars when they lean on them. Then there is the limited parking for a group event. Just for information

Great response so far, folks This poll will be open for a total of 60 days. It is a multiple choice poll so you don't have to pick just one

We need more responses guys. Remember this is NOT a sign-up for 2014 and even if you are unsure if you'll make it next year we want to know what YOU would like to do if you did.

Considering we have had as few as 52 trucks to as many as 125 I know there are more of you that might make the 2014 run...let your interest in activities be known

Add a poker run event to either the Caravan to Hoover Dam or to Lake Havasu City or both.

You are welcome David. As we stated during the 2013 banquet, we hope to make the 2014 Laughlin the biggest and best ever!

Not impossible to do, but there's not a whole heck of a lot to see in the desert in the dark and no one will be able to see our beautiful trucks. I suspect that the Sonic Run will be during the night...lets ask the caravan leader, RRR...what say you, Jeff?

Is being considered for the Hoover Dam caravan, possibly using the route Lisa and Dane used a few years back.

Stay tuned for the details as things are planned and the 2014 date is set.
