Finally Received My Moleskin Order

OK, I FINALLY GOT MY MOLESKIN ORDER, SOoooooo, THIS IS WHAT I'M GOING TO DO.

1. THE PEOPLE THAT HAD TROUBLE AFTER HAVING IT INSTALLED AT THE TEXAS RALLY, PLEASE PM ME NAME AND ADDRESS YOU WILL GET FIRST CHOICE.

2. IF I PROMISED YOU SOME MOLESKIN, PM ME NAME AND ADDRESS AND I'LL SEND YOU SOME.

3. IF YOU WANT SOME OR NEED SOME PM ME NAME AND ADDRESS.

I ONLY HAVE SO MUCH SO GET ME THE NAME ASAP AND WHEN I RUN OUT THAT WILL BE IT.

IF SOMEONE HAS THEIR DOOR PANELS OFF, IF YOU CAN GIVE ME THE EXACT LENGTH I'LL ADD 1/2" AND SEND IT TO THE PEOPLE THAT NEEDS IT. OTHERWISE I'LL HAVE TO PULL ONE OF MINE OFF JUST TO GET THE MEASUREMENT.

ON INSTALLING, PLEASE REMEMBER TO WIPE THE RUBBER WIPER DOWN WITH ALCOHOL AND WHEN PLACING THE STRIPE OF MOLESKIN REMEMBER TO RUB THE EDGES SEVERALS TIME TO MAKE SURE THAT IT STICKS ALL THE WAY DOWN THE LENGTH OF THE MOLESKIN.

AGAIN I'M SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS HAS CAUSED BUT ON THE WHOLE I THINK IT WENT VERY WELL.

AND AS A VERY GOOD FRIEND KEEPS SAYING "BLESS YOUR HEART"

Bless your Heart, Jack

That's a very generous offer, so those of you that take Jack up on his offer, remember it's an out of pocket gift from him.

Happy Birthday my friend, and I look forward to seeing you soon.

mole skin

Jack mine are 3 foot 5 inches . I would cut them 3 foot 6 inches to be on the safe side when they are peeled to get to the stickey part. Then it could be trimed both ends . This is how I was cutting them in Texas. Marty

Thumbs up F.y.i.

Once moleskin is installed per Jack's instructions above (when you think the fins are clean, clean them again) please wait 5 - 7 days before rolling down windows fully which also means not going topless. Window indexing to get in and out of truck will have no effect on the moleskin. The moleskin glue needs those days to set up...
