Found this and going on the tailgate

i found this after seeing the one on the back of Gregs R and found one that is chrome red white and blue
if i can get some leds in it i may make it a 3rd brake light or a left and right turn signal
will give me something to do hopefully this weekend

seeing Greg tomorrow at 7 am for a tranny fluid change and corvette servo

i will post once i get it in and on
this is from a 66 Impala on the rear trunk

you may be able to make a plexi spacer that you can mount the LEDs in. I had thought about spacing the bow tie on the tailgate for the 3rd lite a couple of years ago.

I installed this one

I installed this one on my first SSR. It dosen't quite have the same curvature as the tailgate. I gently rolled mine and ended up cracking it a little on the bottom. You couldn't see it so I installed it anyway. Nice clean look, but you will have to compensate for the curvature with some thick molding tape or something like that. I think there is a picture of it installed in my picture gallery on this site.

i talked to Greg while i was there and he told me the same thing
i will warm it up and gently bend it
i am installing it w 3M tape after i cut the posts off
