Sorry I missed this morning. I had a late (early am) night so decided it would be best to try to stay awake rather than cat nap. I sat down to watch a movie until shower time @ 4 AM so I wouldn't wake Jim. Somewhere shortly after Nicholas Cage beat some dude to death I was toast. I woke up at 6:30 AM. A little late for DD.
I love the pictures. The two tone red over black paint job on the hot rod is cool. Maybe I'll do something like that. I took my truck to a couple of places yesterday for estimates. One of the places was Mr. D's (where Lloyd had his work done) - really super nice guy - and the other was a local shop. After further research I found that their work has been featured in numerous magazines like Hot Rod. I'm thinking their estimate is going to be on the high side.
Your brother's restaurant looks awesome! And of course any place that has Stella on tap rates in my book.
TWO Saturdays in a row!!! Totally fun!!... Went to DD this morning...Met up with the Fanatics & then Bruce (Yellow Tub) gave me permission to play instead of doing what I should... So I played... Went up to the Valley & took Malibu Canyon road to the coast then down to Marina del Rey & the restaurant as a possible run for Christmas... (So far the best one.. But Topanga is still my favorite..)
I think I might have seen you when I was out there two weeks ago and I started to wave, before I realized that I wasn't in my R, but in a Mercedes. Waving would have just looked stupid!

We drove over Topanga and up to the Fish Place on PCH, then up to the Commons for ice cream and shopping. Then we came back via Los Virgins or whatever that road by Pepperdine is called.
Btw, pm me the address of the restaurant for my next visit.

Yet, again... A good Saturday ... got to sleep in... 6am!!! Hey, for me that is sleeping in... ran some errands... then off to some canyon runs... enjoyed it.. but can't see all of our trucks running this one.. Topanga Cyn to Tuna Cyn to Saddle Peak, Puima Rd to Malibu Canyon... So its crossed off the Christmas run list... But still good fun!
This is what you DON'T want to see... but it looks like they got it under control pretty quick!

Yet another adventure… ran some Saturday morning errands then took off for some fun. Had to drop off some parts to a buddy… WHO was still asleep at 10am!!! … Then off to the Sawdust Festival… haven’t been there in over 20 years… There was some cool stuff… love the setting …. Then from there… ran into the SF Valley and took Cold Water Canyon over the hill … thought a maybe for Christmas run …. Still liking Malibu Canyon better…
