It's a dream car I'll get when I'm back on the main land hopefully...but for now I bought a 06 Mazda 3 with only 65,000 miles on it for 8,500. Was a steal so I jumped on it.

Rather have no car payment than a car payment...and less gas and it's stylish enough....thanks for all your help guys!
Happy to hear you have wheels. I know what a pain it can be over there without them. Was in Wahiawa for two years in the late 60s. Drove two Corvairs into the ground (they were close to that point when I bought them) but I was able to get around. Thanks for your service. Keep in touch. What is your rate and rating? Mine (Radioman) no longer exists.

When you do, come on back and tell us about it.

And we'll say, told ya so.

Seriously though, don't give up that dream, Jiro, you won't regret it.

Kinda figured you got something else....I see the R is still at the dealer and had not heard from you. Not a problem...someday you'll have one and find out how fun they are. Thanks for your service and watch for a red one cruising Pearl on occasion.

I don't see the R for sale any longer at the dealer (here in Hawaii)...someone bought it. I figure it went for somewhere around 19 or 20.
