I finally joined the SSR family yesterday. Picked up a 2006 yellow SSR with 3,300 miles on it. This is the original one I was looking at and finally got the dealer down to a reasonable price. Still overpaid somewhat but it was the best I was going to do on this vehicle. Traded my 2011 392 Challenger for it and I have no regrets. I can always buy another Challenger.
I'll spend the day detailing. It sat outside at the dealership for a couple of months and is dusty and has rain spots on it. I'm sure it will look great.
My Corvette and Challenger buddies actually love the truck which really surprised me. So far nothing but positive reactions. I'll post pics after it's cleaned. So far I'm loving it.
Welcome. You'll enjoy that R more everyday. Like you said, anyone can have a Challenger, only 27 thousand (give or take a few) of us can ever get an R.

On the covered bridge/chocolate run yesterday, we were waiting to make a left at a light, when a guy in a Superbird pulled up next to us. Of course it's just my opinion, but he looked jealous to me.
