I like my VIN (23333) and decided to look for 11111 and 22222. I didn't find them so I think I have the VIN#.

Noticed Flassh's post and noted while scrolling through #24092 could be changed to Redcat.

Also, I sold #19215, buyer not registered Fanatic as yet so far as I know. Thanks Reb and back me up more on that hockey stuff ya bum!

I always wanted one an SSR but never thought that I could afford one. I even bought a die-cast model in my favorite color, Slingshot Yellow. It have been on my deck for about five years. Then, six weeks ago I was driving by our local Chevy dealer and there were two 2004 SSRs. One in black and one in yellow. I had to stop and take a look. The Yellow one only had 1325 miles on it and was in "like new" shape. The Black one had chrome wheels which I tried to get the dealer to swap out for the silver ones on the yellow model. I am so glad he wouldn't do it. I bought the SSR and have put about 700 miles on it in six weeks (half of the mileage the first owner put on the SSR in five years).

I love this vehile more than any other I have ever owned. That includes my first car a 1957 Chevy convertible (bought used in 1964 for $900), a new 1966 GTO convertible ($3700), a new 1968 Cougar GT-E XR7 with a 428 Cobra Jet engine (then I got married and traded it for a 1970 Monte Carlo, auto with air.

I am going to use this truck on weekends and for evening drives. I wish I had the 2005/06 model with the LS2 engine. However, I really think that the real heart of the SSR is to cruise not drag race. And for that there is nothing better. 4650 lbs of cool. I have a good friend with a 2008 Corvette with a 436 HP engine at about 3500 lbs and it is scary fast. I have had that in the past and this truck is really something special.

I live north of Atlanta and hope to meet other SSR owners in this area. Last week I was driving to Nashville in my 2002 Tahoe and a yellow SSR pasted me doing about 80 MPH.
