Seeing as you're on this historical kick

I've got Pac Blue 24092. How many Pac blues were built after this one? I would expect at least 3, because there were 3 pac blues at LCC for the give-away to an employee.

I guess one of those three would be the next to chase down.

Well Mike, I suggest that you, Marc NY & Umpire13 and any other SSR site members that have access to the GM "Vehicle Inquiry" System take on the daunting task off starting backwards with VIN# 24,112 and work backwards by listing all their options & colors to then be able to give us a complete SSR history for our record.

I believe that chrome parts package refers to both the exterior parts (not including chrome wheels) and the interior parts. They exterior and interior were not separate as an '06 option. Also, there were some '06 SSRs with the chrome parts package, but were equipped with satin wheels.

Question... if the vin#'s are in sequence, how can my build date be 3/1/06 and #232 - vin#123643 have a build date of 2/28/06.... maybe I'm wrong about my build date....

That vin#'s are not in sequence. I have seen some that should be 2/28/06 and they where built 3/15/06 . I think the date is set when the truck is put on the transport. Check with Mark on this please he would know.
