Dianne and I finally got around to watching the Last SSR CD that "Big Jim" sent a while back and what a neat story from the beginning of the original forging plant until the SSR production.
The SSR productlion part and the events celebrating the last SSR were really fun to watch. I know I am probably a year or so behind the rest of you on this because you have probably seen the CD a while back.
I have to admit it was somewhat sad to realize it was 2 years and 3 days ago (March 17, 2006) that the last SSR was rolled off the line. But, my spirits lifted when I saw the three Pac Blue's they had lined up with one ready to be given away. I won't reveal who won it in case you have not see the CD yet.
Just thought I would share some thoughts and the end result is Dianne and I appreciate our Blue 06 much more now that we sort of "bonded" with the folks who made it.
