Actually all of my cars except the golf cart are insured. My SSR and the older ones are all under collectors insurance.

Of course, I was joking but you've inspired some question from me. What is collector's insurance? Who writes it? How does it differ from standard auto insurance and how do they write on a 2005 vehicle?

Yeah, I know I do tend to ask questions.....

Mileage

Well, I was feeling pretty good that I'm less than 300 miles from rolling over 40K on my 05 - until I saw 40K+ in 8 months out in Cali. WOW!

had 19,100 when I bought her the end of June, 2006. I have 39,730 on her now. (Okay, to be fair, I have a motorized 2-wheeled vehicle that gets ride time when it's warm - put 3000 miles on that the first 6 months I rode it, and I'm a new rider.)

milesge

0444;750 as of 3/7/08. I thought this was kinda neat. I was coming down 695 in MD. by Rt.1 the other night, when I looked down at the odometer and it had just turned 44,444. I hurried up and pulled to the shoulder of the road, took a picture and a short video of the odometer. I drive her everyday if possible. I also have a 2000 Trans Am Ram Air that is sitting out front screaming to be driven. ( I'm always in the SSR )The Trans only has 49,000, the rest is on the SSR!

about 4000 smiles for me

I will guesstimate the R now has 21,500 or 21,600 miles on it. When I received it in Dec 2006, it arrived at 17,487 miles .
