Minor Fender Bender

Have you just ever had one of those weeks Lets see… the attempted break in, Midden in the ER twice this week, the Monday from Hell… and now this!!!!

I was sitting in my office this morning… slaving away… when I heard the sound of a car crashing… not a big boom … but a good loud crunch where you know something is damaged. So I went outside to see what happened…. And it was ME!!! My poor SSR… the front “Chevrolet” emblem rocking back and forth on the ground…. The bow tie cross bar no longer in one piece, sticking out from the headlights…. The guy was so apologetic, said he would pay for everything… he was just so sorry… he forgot there was a car behind him and just backed right into me… I decided it was not a big deal, it could be fix and forgave the guy for hitting my R…. Well… I had to cuz it was my Dad!!!

You sure do know how to spin a yarn.

I was pissed off at the guy for being so (DELETED).....Then I got to the punch line and was still too angry to laugh. All I could think of that it could have been worse, at least he didn't hit and run!!

What a week!

I've had days like that... and we call them bucket days!

I've also had to forgive my Dad a lot too.

Hugs to you...

Ouch, what a week I feel so bad for your dad, he must really be beating himself up about this, poor guy. As for your baby, get that thing fixed and smiling again. And give your pooch a big hug and your dad too. Trucks will come and go, but you only get one dad. O.K. give him a hug for me too

I can relate. My father can relate. Back in the middle of May I was visiting my folks. My father went outside to move his truck, but forgot my SSR was parked behind his Avalanche. After I gave him a backup camera for his birthday a week earlier too.

Dad was always pretty good about fixing stuff even if he did mess it up.

Holy ####

I do not recall ever having a week filled with so many catastrophes. My Father who passed in 1990 lived with me and used my cars and wrecked them often. I have many stories but you know he was forgiven. This to will pass.

They say that they come in three's................You should be done for a while. Just get the truck fixed, give him a hug, tell him it's OK and "keep on truckin'".
