Ethanol helps no one but farmers etc. Add in cost of diesel to run tractors and the like we save nothing. We pay for a gallon with less gas in it and we all get less mpg, how does any of this help the consumer or the envirorment.

It is still possible to find gas staions that sell fuel with no ethanol but the cost per gallon is much higher.

I guess down the road additives will be made available to stabilise the problems!

Thanks for the heads-up on the bad gas. I hadn't heard anything about it before this.

Is the ethanol content always marked on the pump itself?

One of my worst automotive memories is getting a tankful of gas with water in it.

Nothing is worse than getting BAD GAS!!
