I added some graphics to my "R" to break the large door area.
I kinda borrowed it from an "R" in Calif.
The idea came from larry l of Orange, Calif.
I changed the color and layout to fit my taste and "R".
The black/silver sword is for the black stripes.
The Gold Bowtie is for all six bowties.
The silver SS/red R is for the Stainless SSR letters on the lid.
I think it is OK.
I used the best 3M vinyl. Didn't want to use airbrush until I was sure it is what I wanted.
Note: The SSR Logo/Bowtie faces different directions on each door. I didn't pick that up until much later. Don't know if it really makes any difference because you can only see one side at a time.
Not sure if I want to move the Bowtie to the same location on each side.
I did put on the Chrome Chevy Emblem to inhance the stainless grill and I painted the letters black.

I prefer the passengers side, do to the way the weight of the graphic flows.
It is hard to leave things alone once you start to modify, we just keep looking.
My SSR: Richoect silver 05 #19466 three pedal AKA: Silver Streak
Looking good
Copying is the sincerest form of flattery. Thanks Dick it really does look good especially on that primer coat. HAHA.
Makes a big difference to the looks of the car and as I said before they were really willing to work with me to make the graphics in whatever color scheme I wanted. Did not have to buy off the shelf so to speak.
My SSR: 05 AUTO SMKN ASPHALT(DOES NOT WANT TO GO HOME)

Now you just have to keep going.

Thanks Larry, They worked with me, kinda, 6 proofs before I had it like it is and as you can see it isn't right. I kept complaining about "What are you thinking, just follow my layout".
They all want to put there own idea's in play.
I wanted the Bowtie because so many people don't know what kind of car it is. Like "Is that a kit car"?? Unless they see the front/back they don't know.
I wanted to pull all the colors together, black/silver/stainless and bowtie.
I think I will take the advice and change the drivers door to match the passenger side. Makes sense to have the Chevy logo first, then model type.
