New Rear Emblem Installed

got this in today
decided that that lights wont really show w the silver rear painted on it so
posts cut and 3Med it on

I love it

there was silver coating behind the red so lights wouldnt work
i would have to completely change the red to red lens that was cutable, then put in leds and then put a back on it.

i may do it later but for now its fine

Another option is to put Scotch 3M reflective tape behind the red lens. I have used the silver for a similar application. When lights hit it it looks like it is lit up. Cheap and no wiring or drilling involved.

3M? Scotchlite? Reflective Safety Tape

No matter what....I like the way it looks!

ALL Chevy emblems sshould be BLUE!!! Gold is all wrong. Especlarlly on an SSR.

3-M makes a bunch of other colors too.
I posted a link to a site that showed a bunch of chevy chrome script you could choose from, but it got removed, so you're on your own.
